As a broker, Alpiq's tasks include:

• Continuous monitoring of the power market in relation to new agreements, and identifying the correct time for entry into - and the duration of - power contracts.

• Following up on existing agreements and redeeming any options.

• Preparing enquiry documents. The preparation process includes the specification of invoicing and reportinBroking g routines.

• Evaluating offers, which includes receiving, structuring and calculating the best offers. Alpiq handles negotiations with the various suppliers, and the results are presented in the form of a market analysis/recommendation in relation to choice of supplier and price model.

• On request from the customer, Alpiq can set up a quick tender including prices from the most appropriate suppliers.

• Clarification/assistance in the context of changing suppliers and the various problems linked to consumption charges, grid rental, incorrect invoices, etc.

• Checking the power contracts from the power suppliers.
