Alpiq Denmark, which is a subsidiary of the Alpiq Group, was originally established under the name Nordisk Energipartner. The company was set-up in 1999 as a subsidiary of the Norwegian parent company Energipartner, which had already established itself as an independent player in the energy market in 1991. At that time the company's vision was the same as it is today; to create the best energy solutions in the Nordic countries based on its ambition to be the leading challenger on the Nordic energy market.

The ties to the Norwegian parent company were as strong then as today and despite the changes of name, the Nordic Alpiq companies still have a strong cooperation.

Alpiq Denmark offers energy brokering, portfolio management, trading, origination and independent consultancy in close collaboration with Alpiq Norway. We provide services for customers within business sectors such as the public sector, industrial companies, the service sector, and power plants.
