History of Alpiq in Norway

Energipartner (now named Alpiq Norway) was founded in 1991 as an independent player in the energy market, with its focus directed primarily towards consultancy and power broking. Today, Alpiq Norway's business consists of power broking, portfolio management, trading and origination.

Atel expressed an interest in the company as early as 2000, and increased its ownership stake from 70% to 100% in 2003.

Our customer base comprises energy plants and players from the industrial, service and public sectors.
